Parish School Of Religion (P.S.R.)

St. Henry Parish School of Religion believes that all children should be raised knowing the love of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is important that children develop a comfort level with the ceremony and basis for our worship while they grow in their spiritual lives. Children come from many different grade schools in the area and all efforts are made to foster healthy Christian relationships that will last a life time. Through the study of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ the moral compass of our youth is formed as they ask "What would Jesus do, in this circumstance?"

The PSR staff is enriched with a volunteer staff who are inspired to share their faith and love of God with the young people of our parish. Classes meet Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:15 am from September through May.

In order for your child to receive the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation, your child MUST attend classes the entire year prior. If you have any questions please contact Beth.

Instruction begins in September and culminates in the Profession of Faith or Sacrament of Initiation at Easter Vigil Liturgy. The post baptismal catechesis continues until Pentecost Sunday.
